Public Housing: Low-income elderly, family, and disabled households pay approximately 30% of their income for rent and utilities.

The way to receive a Housing Choice Voucher is through our lottery program. The last lottery was held September 25-27, 2018 and the next lottery has not been scheduled. Learn More.
Eligible households use vouchers to help pay the rent on rental properties of their choosing.

BAR Properties are offered below market rates with rent prices ranging from $700-$1,700. Minimum household gross monthly income of 2 times the rent.

Market Rate Rental properties are similar to renting within the private market. There are no income restrictions. Rent is comparable to other market rate properties in Boulder. Applications accepted year round.
