Volunteer Program

Welcome to the Volunteer Program of Boulder Housing Partners

The primary mission of BHP is to provide quality, affordable housing that is developed and managed with respect for the dignity of all involved.  Volunteers help to create a sense of community strength and spirit that supports resident efforts to realize success in their lives.

Volunteers support this mission through the provision of services to individuals, groups, and the staff of BHP. Opportunities range from one on one assistance to group activities and office work. Group activities consist of garden cleaning, painting, limited landscaping, game playing, community dinners and other activities. All volunteers working directly with residents must go through a criminal background check, agree to maintain confidentiality of resident issues, and consent to supervision from the volunteer program.

Now that you have decided to volunteer

We will help match your skills to the needs of our residents and communities. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Volunteer Application
  2. Agree to a criminal background check
  3. Interview with our volunteer coordinator, Richard Butler
