The senior community at High Mar will be Boulder's newest affordable rental community for active and independent adults age 62+. Residents will be able to move in, in 2013-2014.

Located in the south Boulder neighborhood known as Martin Acres on the site of the former High Mar Swim and Tennis Club, this new community will provide its residents with community, affordability and sustainability.

Planning for the new community began in earnest in early 2010 and included an extensive neighborhood outreach effort.

The three-story, elevator-serviced apartment building will contain one and two-bedroom units, each with its own private balcony or patios. Residents will have access to a gorgeously landscaped courtyard and community gardens. Inside, residents will be able to enjoy a variety of programs and activities offered in the spacious lounge area. Located in a vibrant neighborhood, various services are within walking distance - including a post office and a coffee shop. Downtown Boulder, the University, and two of the City's recreation centers are only a short bus or bike ride away. ADA accessible units are available.
