Iris Hawthorne homes  are bordered by Iris and Hawthorne Avenues and Broadway and 16th Street. These homes are part of the public housing program where residents pay their own utilities and approximately 30% of their income towards rent. The community is also home to a playground and within walking distance to bike trails, the community gardens and the North Boulder Rec Center. Pets accepted with written prior landlord approval.
