BHP to Cooperate with City in Development of Housing First Community

At its meeting on November 14^th, the BHP Board of Commissioners adopted a Resolution, expanded its commitment to delay submission of a land use review application until the City's land use code regulations governing permanent supportive housing communities are either affirmed or changed.  Additionally, BHP will continue to assess the suitability of other locations for Housing First communities and will share that information with City Council and staff.  BHP will also seek City Council's endorsement of site selection criteria in order to guide the assessment of sites suitable for permanent supportive housing.  A copy of the resolution was delivered to City Council and can be viewed here.
